Busy Bees Preschool offers a balanced mix of self-directed play, large group teacher-led time, and small group or individual work with teacher support. Children take part in STEM class activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, where they question, hypothesize, observe, explore, and build with monthly themes such as Earth Science, Engineering, The Science of Storytelling, Chemistry, and Botany. The program also includes daily one on one handwriting instruction in Pre-K classes using Handwriting Without Tears® materials and multi-sensory teaching strategies and materials.

• Schedule: 3-hour preschool classes
Busy Bees Preschool has small class sizes with one teacher for every 6 children, and for every 6 children in a class, there is one qualified teacher. The curriculum is developed to meet growing readiness skills required for kindergarten. Busy Bees Preschool meets the high expectations of parents seeking a non-corporate “boutique” style preschool experience and focuses on delivering a creative curriculum in a joyful, happy environment. The program aims to maintain a joyful and playful environment while guiding the development of the whole child and to provide a rich and nurturing environment where children discover they are able to do many things. Busy Bees Preschool has a Tier 4 High Quality rating supported by First 5 California and consistently enjoys the accolade of Best Preschool. The admissions policy requires children to be current with immunizations and welcomes children of all races, nationalities, and religions.
